Quarry Park

Welcome to Quarry Park, the home of Carnforth Rangers Football Club!

Just off Kellet Road, down the old un-made track and lying at the foot of the disused Lundsfield Quarry stands the legendary home of Carnforth Rangers Football Club, Quarry Park. This small patch of land has been home to our football club since 1950 and has seen many great footballing memories made for the town of Carnforth. Hosting the 1st Team, 2nd Team, Under 15’s and Under 16’s (amongst other junior sides), as well as the occasional 3rd Team and 4th Team match, Quarry Park is easily able to accommodate large numbers of spectators for their weekly dose of footballing action! On the far side of the ground is the QP Stand that was opened by the Supporters Club in 1953. It proudly shows it colours over the grass surface where the red shirts of Rangers play with pride. Throughout the 2019/20 season, the site underwent significant development to improve existing facilities and provide new infrastructure. A new pitch barrier has been installed, spacious dugouts built, significant work undertaken to the pitch, a pathway built for easier access around the eastern side, erection of new red and white box goals, the stand repainted to its former glory and the new changing rooms installed to name but a few additions. Quarry Park now offers a matchday experience like no other so why not also purchase a Rangers pin badge and a copy of the Rangers Review to remember your stay by! You can also stop by the fully licensed ‘Jimmy’s Boundary Bar’ to complement your visit with some refreshments! We have more projects planned for Quarry Park and we will keep you updated with any developments via our Twitter and Facebook pages! We look forward to your visit in the near future!
